Havana 1: I took “Havana Windows” (first picture on this page) out of my hotel room at my first night in Havana. I only booked a hotel for the first nights. The major part of my holiday I stayed in Casa Particulares.

Most of the photographs I took by just wandering the streets with no particular place to go. I think this is the best way to explore Havana.

I shot all these pictures with a Nikon Coolpix 8800 digital camera. This digital camera has a 10x Telephoto Optical Zoom-Nikkor ED lens (35mm equivalent of 35-350mm). Recently I bought the full frame Canon 5d (D-SLR ) with several L-lenses). Next trip I’ll use this new professional camera.
